Title: Shotgun dipping
Post by: blake0311 on May 21, 2017, 05:16:11 PM
Now that my season is over I'm gonna send my shotgun off somewhere to get it redipped. Anyone on here get their shotgun dipped and care to share their experience, and who dipped it for them?

What is his turn around time like? Thinking about sending him mine for the same treatment

I didn't ask him but from reading reviews it's a pretty quick turn around time. I honestly don't mind if it takes a while as long as it's done right. He received it a week ago today and I will post pics when I get it back.

Hookedspur that is a great looking gun with that cerakote. What sight is that on your gun? Also what is the color of your cerakote? Mine is being done right now in Patriot brown.

Have you shot gun much since having it Cerakoted? Just wondered how it was holding up on the bolt, action bars and magazine tube.

Those are some very sexy shotguns hookedspur and deerhunter! Thought about doing a combo of cerakote and dip but those both look awesome solid.

Yup, took it to 7 states this spring. I just gave my gun a look over and out of the three spots you mentioned, only the rear of the magazine tube has any wear and it is very slight. I did put a few very light scratches on the gun in a couple places. You have to really look to see them. That being said, I'm also rough on equipment.
