Thought it would be neat to have a thread of all our birds this year. I really enjoyed spending the spring with everyone and I hope all will be back on the team next year. I tried to put the birds in order of kill date. If I missed someones bird then please let me know and I apologize. I will add to them as more go down. Thanks!

Man what a season we've had as a team! A lot of great birds put down by everyone. Been a lot of fun sharing the spring with all you. Still got some hunting left to do here in NY but will be looking forward to next year.
Great thread! That's a lot of smoked turkey breast, turkey nuggets, turkey schnitzel, turkey burgers, turkey sausage, the list could go on. Great times and a great team. Look forward to sharing the digital woods with y'all next season.

Well this morning I was blessed to fill my last NY tag and end my season. What a season it's been. Just shy of an upgrade at 66.93 total score. 22.68 lbs, 10.25" beard, 1.25" and 1.125" spurs. But couldn't be happier with this bird! What a fun hunt! 2 of my 3 biggest birds ever fell this season.

Just a matter of time, there is a reason I am checking the board every morning and a couple times throughout the day.
Teamed up with my dad this morning on some birds that have been giving him the slip. What a great morning in the woods, the best hunt of the year for sure with 45 minutes of non stop gobbling action. This guy came in and ran off two jakes then attacked the Jake deke. I was sitting 75 yds back calling with the Twisted Sister...I heard the fighting purrs and wingbeats followed BOOM!!! :happy0064:

This is REAL NY...not that crappy city 6 hrs to the east!!! We have pretty good deer/turkey hunting here in the western Finger Lakes Region of the state. I was really ticked that I forgot my good digital camera this morning. Yes, that is an old woodland 835, just like mine.

I may have to see if I can find some public land up that way sometime and see that beauty for myself. My mom is originally from New York. Do not quote me on this but I think she was born in Ithaca. I know we have been to Ithaca, Candor, and Marathon. Got a good buddy from up there and we went stayed a week on the East Delaware in Downsville Trout fishing. New York is an absolutely stunning place, when there is no snow, haha. It is on my list.

Ithaca is in the eastern Finger Lakes Region about an hour and a half to the east. There happens to be a 2700 acre chunk of state land less than a mile from where we killed this bird today. I hunt it occasionally. If you ever need info about it just message me!!!

NY can be some very beautiful country if you are in the right areas. The finger lakes region is some of the best in the state. I'm north of Niagara Falls in Niagara Co. . It is pretty nice out this way if your in the right areas. I do some hunting in southern part of the state. Southwest of the finger lakes. Allegheny Co, Wyoming Co. Very nice country as well . If you ever come out to NY let me know as well!
