I have a +/-62 point bird and American Strutter (Chad) has at least a 62 pointer, so we are sitting pretty good. I am going to Nebraska later in May for a chance at an upgrade.
Fun doing battle this year. It's going to be close.
I'm headed to Nebraska and Kansas today and I hope to upgrade a little as well
and I know several members are still after them , so good luck and be safe.
I'm hoping to work in a VA bird before their season ends. Also, if my guy gets back to me and I can find the time, I'm still considering getting a Maryland license even if it's just for the last weekend.
Whiskey and I are in Indiana now but the weather is not co-operating so it doesn't look good.
My season is over, as Alabama's season ends tomorrow.
With the wife's new job, I just wasn't able to go in the mornings, as I took my daughter to school.
Still almost limited out, but no birds which scored much.
I can't believe Turkey season is over for me, *sigh* :(

Looks like I'm done as well, I know Jim has one if we need it and Chad (American Strutter ) has yet to
check in so we may be close again this year...
It looks like it is coming down to us and GOT again this year. They have now posted 9 birds and are at 591 +-, which means that it comes down to Chad posting his best bird for us to take it again this year. Assuming Chad has a bird somewhere in the 60's as somebody mentioned, we should end up edging GOT out by a couple of points. If Chad doesn't come through, and I have to post my best bird (54.5 +-), then GOT will edge us out by a couple of points.
Again, all of this is based on the assumption there are not some sandbaggers out there on a team that haven't posted a bunch of their birds. It looks like this year will be even closer than the last couple. Regardless of the outcome, it is a fun contest to take part in.
11 or 12 of us on GOT have killed. A couple guys still have birds to post and at least half of us are stilll hunting! Gonna be tight!!
I love it....... we not done yet tho!!

587.4625 (under the 2016 contest section). Both GOT and us have upped our game this year a little bit.
Got to admit that I really enjoy this. It's closer than I want it, but the friendly competition makes it fun ! Been some dang nice birds posted. Still got a ways to go, gonna be close.....
Several teams have really kicked it up a notch.

Even if we don't win couldn't be more proud of our team. Somewhere around 30 birds have fell to our guns. Enjoy the compilation with all of you fellers. There have been a lot of big birds killed this year.
Looks like we need Chad to come through with a 64 point bird to retain the crown....hope he's got one up his sleeve...

If not, and all goes well, I've got one crack at Maryland this Saturday depending on the work schedule. If they're willing to participate, I think an upgrade is possible so maybe he just needs a 62 point bird. :TooFunny:
Way things are looking, I'm not going to make it there anyway. Based on last year, I'm betting he's got a good one somewhere. Having said that, already heard he does. :icon_thumright:

I thought I had seen it as well, but couldn't find it. Was wondering myself, but, at times with all going on in life, it's difficult to remember the first of the week.
Regardless, we're just Blessed to be able to hunt and enjoy the outdoors, and friendships made.
