Anybody tried the Federal 2oz. #5 in a Browning?? I have a few boxes I got for $6 a box. Would like to shoot em on turkeys.
No go in a XX Comp-N-Choke or .695 Hastings. 26" barrel.
Need to go tighter??
I tried them and got 56 hits in a 10 inch circle at 40 through a H&R with a .685 Sumtoy. Worthless for hunting out of my gun , but good for sighting in my red dot. Mine were cheap also.

I could use them to zero a set of sights as well. No need to buy another choke just to figure out they won't shoot from it as well.
They shoot great out of a Hastings 675 if you can find one
What are the fed "high energy" shells? I haven't heard of them. Do they have the flite control wads?

Pre Flite Control. They are a 2 oz. load vs. the standard 2 1/4 oz. load. Came out about the same time as Winchester HV loads.
