Title: Browning BPS 28" Barrel Sumtoy .685 Federal HW #6
Post by: mbowyer51 on March 30, 2017, 08:58:32 PM
Temperature was 70 degrees with no wind. Cleaned the barrel between each shot. The 20 yard pattern doesn't leave much room for error. Got 146 in 10" at 40 yards, seems a little low to me. Anyone else have this setup and try HW #6?

I shoot bps 24 in with sumtoy 685 or kicks 690 with fed hw 7s average 170 to 180 with clean barrel temp 50s.these wads leave a build up in the barrel that is hard to clean. Im going to clean with butchs boreshine and steelwool and try again.would love to get over 200 like others have posted.

Try it with a fouled barrel. My 12 gauge will not shoot a pattern from a clean barrel. Needs at leat 1 fouling shot down the pipe.
