Title: Hello from Indiana
Post by: nswayer on December 17, 2016, 01:29:13 PM
Was pointed to this site by some folks on another forum.  I have been hunting Deer/Squirrel for about 6 years.  I have decided that I am going to try turkey hunting in the spring.  Right now I have my deer hunting camo, a Remington 870, a place to hunt, and an open mind.  Looking forward to learning from everyone here as all I know about turkey hunting is what I have seen on TV.

Welcome and let the addiction begin :)

Sounds like you have the first steps down, there are a lot of opinions out there and not to sound bad but take them as that. A lot of good folks on this site and willing to share info and remember TV is TV there's a lot you can do when you have the "edit" feature. Most hunting shows are commercials for product... not to say it's all that way and all bad but keep it in mind.

A call and some shells and you are ready to hunt. Good luck!
