Got it done last Tuesday, May 3rd. VERY FOGGY and he roosted about 250 yards from where I thought I had him pegged the day before. Gobbled his head off every day until the hens went to him, but that morning they never showed. He must have gotten a lil love sick. 42 yards-quite a bit longer shot than I would have liked, but three jakes were threatening to screw me up. 22#, 6 ounces, 10" beard and 1" ivory spurs. Been watching this bird for 3 years so I know he's at least a 4 year old.

Man, congratulations on taking this old boy to the house. Love those white spurs. Hooter has a set like those in his freezer.

Great looking bird, congrats. That gives the team our much needed 9th gobbler when the scoring pics are posted. We have a good shot at being one of the best team's this year.
