Yelp, That Lonzo was sweet. I saw it but I'am trying my best to to stop the buying call sickness. It sure is hard though, almost agonizing.

Well, I've never even played a Lonzo, but I've got this new hankering for some pot calls....lol....I love my scratch boxes, but a good pot can be useful too.

I paid for the Hanks pot on 4/8/16 and have not received it. I have sent this guy PMs asking for a tracking number and he will not answer my PMs. I also know that the guy that bought the Lonzo pot has not got his neither.
I paid for the Lonzo on 4/8/16 as well, still hopeful that it will arrive as promised.

Here is the deal......I sent "gar" a message a few days ago the 17th ...haven't heard back
I don't like to cast judgment down on folks but when I send a message trying to help you square things up I expect a reply asap , barring some serious situation, this doest bode well with me , I Don't like to jump to conclusions but We have not had any word back , if there was communication explaining the moderate delay , this would be acceptable , I prefer to conduct things privately , but that seems to not be working
So I am forced , by lack of communication ,to proceed publicly , by this Friday .....the calls had better be in hand , or I will proceed publicly .....I have stickied the thread to the top of this area , and there it will stay until my members are refunded or given their calls , as time goes by I will be forced to post up more pertinent contact informtion , emails , PayPal address , address etc.. This will be done so to protect our valued membership here from shady dealings , and if I am forced to do so as a example

You can open a case on his paypal account. They will stop payment and cancel his account till resolved. Also kills his credit report.

Well I have kind of gave up on getting the the Hanks pot that I paid for on 04/08/16. I hope this never happens to anyone else. To trust someone and have them not stick to their word. If anyone knows this guy "gar" can you please PM me with his info. Thanks again

He joined over a year ago, 75% ? of his posts are buy / sell / trade related. Hasn't been on here since the 16th - which is 8 days after payment from MDTom84 & gergg!!. That alone stinks!
Hmmmm... sick? or thief?
Might be one of those occasions where someone needs to check on him to see if he's okay...(and if he is, kick him in the dinger).

He had a post on here wanting to buy Woodhaven strikers and I traded one with him. He was supposed to mail his the same day I mailed mine and he didn't mail it until the day after he got mine. Wouldn't respond to my text either. I let him know how I felt about him. Started to post on here but decided not to ster the pot with him. Maybe I should have. It could have saved someone some headaches. His name is Glenn Rowe and I had his address and cell number but not anymore. From SC. If I remember right.

I wish I could. I was so mad after our trade I kept his number in my phone for a week. Don't know what I thought I was going to do over the phone. I was just mad! I finally decided the best thing to do was delete it and forget about him. I wonder if I could get my phone records from verizon. I know the day I texted him.

It would have to be a whopper at this point. I'm sure that this is the last thing Shannon wants to deal with, as he runs the best hunting forum on the web, and you just don't see this seldom and never here at OG. You don't want to believe that this was intentional, but who knows.
Being in law enforcement as long as I have, nothing is a surprise to me anymore.
I'm not a big seller,trader ect., but I have sold and traded for a few here and there. Like most guys on here, it all goes very well regardless of what end you are on.
There may be an explanation like you said, but after this long you begin to wonder.

I was one of the buyers in this case, like MDTOM84 I paid via Paypal gift on 4/8/16.... "gar" did reply to me via pm one time early on saying he was going to ship the call, of course that never happened and he never responded after that. Alarm bells went off early in the transaction as there were signs that I was dealing with a "difficult" individual. Shannon's request to not use the gift feature makes sense after this unfortunate situation. Hey, I only lost $50.00, could have been worse....yeah, it is totally a sleazy move, but not sure I want to get all worked up over the loss at this point. I will email and call him for sure, curious to see what happens.

Update.....Glenn--aka "gar" did respond to my text this morning, he sincerely apologized and explained that a personal issue came up that consumed him.....said he will ship my call Tuesday, hopefully that happens.

Hope it works out for you guys. Life emergencies do happen, but not taking 2 minutes (or 30 seconds) to let someone know about a delay, especially after taking their money...is unacceptable, in my opinion.

He did the same thing to me back in July. Wouldn't answer at all. Had another guy on here at the same time and we hooked up and bombarded him with messages. It took over a month, but I did get the calls . Vowed then and there to never do business with him again and haven't. He used the same type of excuse back then. Learned a good lesson from this one. I hope you get your calls.

I was the other member that was involved in a bad deal with gar mid last year at the same time as Scott Hock. Luckily Scott and I determined that we both were being held at bay by gar and shared notes and future efforts until we both received our calls. I finally received the calls 3+ weeks after payment and numerous messages. I have had many wonderful deals on this site and mailed calls before payment was received. I appreciate the safeguards that Shannon has put in place for future deals.

It won't be easy for him to ever be trusted again as far as selling,
good luck with that. He might have a legit reason for the delay, who knows. But this is at least 4 members that have had issues with Gar not sending calls, long after he received payment.
I would venture to say, he pretty much banned himself.

I to sent him a text and he reply "will ship Tuesday" so we will see. But now that I have his cell phone number I will make his life hell if he doesn't ship and give me a tracking number

I fully agree. Very rare to see any issues here with buying, selling, trading, regardless of what end of the transaction you might be on. So when it does happen, we all sit up and take notice. Shannon goes above and beyond to make this site what it is. Sad when some takes advantage of it, hence the no more Pay Pal as gift...

Someone mentioned earlier about adding $2-$3 per transaction. The best way to handle this is to simply add 3% to the transaction if requested by the seller. That's the fees that they incur. For example, a $50 transaction becomes $51.50. A $100 transaction becomes $103. $20 becomes $20.60 and so on. This will cover their fees charged by PayPal.

Well, I am happy to report that I finally got my refund from ""gar" today. This transaction has not discouraged me from future selling/buying, hey I love this place.
