Glad to be back! Can't wait to hear that first gobble!
Did everyone have a good offseason? Any fall birds? Big bucks? Rare species of ducks?
I killed a good 5x5 bull in Idaho, then came home and spent the last two weeks of archery chasing one buck,
only to have him whip me bad..
I'm back....
No fall birds, one nice 11pt, ducks...huh! They make me travel... >:(
Ready for turkey season!
Killed a few ducks, no fall turkeys, no rare species of ducks. Although I know someone on our team who did. Can't wait for turkey season.
Put some venison in the freezer and killed a few ducks. Looking forward to turkeys.
Killed a nice 9pt and had a great trip to Alabama deer hunting with my father-n-law law. Dove season was good.
Archery season was real good this fall, saw a lot of deer. Gonna get my daughter out for some squirrels before the end of the month. Already been scouting for turkey. Ready to defend the title.
2015 Old Gobbler contest Champions
Here is a pic of the public land bull I shot in Idaho. After I killed this guy I kept hunting but for a wolf. Ended up seeing 13 other bulls, two which were 350" animals. And I'm here to tell ya them wolves are smart buggers..
And as for the lill stuffed guy, 10 years ago when I arrived in camp I discovered him in my pack. The youngest daughter thought I might need some company while I was hunting. He has made every trip since, and has witnessed 8 bulls being killed.

Enjoyed a good duck season, and while careful not to wish my life away, when gobbler season gets here I will be a happy man!

Killed my first sika with my bow, a 20 pound dressed out hind... Killed a few ducks, had some good snow goose shoots and duck with Derek, bowhoop and white lightning... And did some turkey brood protection on the crows...
Ready for spring, but still got some stuff to shoot...
