Over here in MS last few weeks they havent said a word yet, finally last weekend got one to gobble once that was it, hopefully theyll start up since the seasons almost over if the weather cooperates. Just kinda figured out how to gobble with a mouth call. Do yall think if its a slow morning or havent heard one gobble i could use it to try and get a shock gobble, or would this just push birds away? I ask because never used a gobble before.
Gobble calls work very well IMO. Toms have 2 emotions in the spring. Horny and jealous.
If you have a place you can safely use a gobble call, I highly reccomend it! I called in 4 jakes just fooling around yesterday doing nothing more than scratching in the leaves, and using a gobble call.
i believe they work i would love to figure out this haint gobble call
