Title: Looking Into Mounted Decoys
Post by: K9Doc on February 20, 2013, 09:12:32 PM
Well guys I really liked what I saw at NWTF Convention. The Spur Collector decoys were top notch and $100 bucks cheaper than most. Anyone here have any thoughts or opinions on the best ones?  Best prices, durability, ectt...
Anyone here making them?

Timberland Taxidermy on here makes them and he has some videos posted featuring his dekes.  Not sure of his prices, though.

I have been making decoys for about 6 years. I usually raise the turkeys each year and then kill them and mount them. I only have 4 this year because the other were not mounting quality. I sale mine for 250.00 plus shipping. If you need any info on how to do it yourself just shoot me a PM. If you send me your own hen I'll do it for 150.00 plus shipping. Here is a pic of my decoys.

I think I am about 1/2 the price of a Spur Collector, but not positive what they charge. Here is a link to a quick video:
