Title: Early, mid, and late season hunting styles?

I hunt in Mississippi and Alabama, and was wondering how you guys that hunt the south change your strategies to adjust to the specific seasonal changes from March 15-May 1.

I really don't. I hunt a mix of public land and private. I try to kill the easily accessed public land birds, that I have spotted, right off the bat. They are the first ones to get boogered by other people. After that, I hunt wherever I'm hearing birds. I run and gun all season. If I was only interested in killing birds, I would do a lot more sitting. But I hate to turkey hunt if I'm not hearing gobbles. I also have the luxury of hunting nearly every day of the season if I want. So, I tend to walk and call till 9 or 10 then pack it up. In georgia the season is open til may 15th, but I rarely hunt the last few weeks b/c they have shut down so much.
