Title: Mouth Call Magic
Post by: BigMick on January 25, 2013, 01:06:37 PM
If you truly want to improve your calling and take it to the next level you need this DVD.

This video is by Scott Ellis.  Scott is a multiple contest winner and Florida State calling champion.
But more than that he is a turkey killer.

I have improved my calling tremendously since getting this video.

Mouth Call Magic by Scott Ellis.

Just my .02

I plan on getting this video. Does Scott break cutting down in this video. I am the guy that sounds like mini yelps with my cutting. It works but I know it could be a lot better.

Does he go over any advanced techniques? Gobbling for instance. Is there anything to be learned for the guys that are already good on a mouth call.

No, I wouldn't call it advanced.

Its for the guy that can make "turkey" noises like clucks and yelps and has the sounds but doesn't know how to make the noises into turkey talk for effective hunting.

Its a good disc, to an earlier question he does break down Cutting and where must guys go wrong and what real hen cutting should sound like

I would definitely call it advanced. I go over whining, soft yelping, clucking and purring, kee keeing, bubble clucks, tree calls, cackling, excited yelping, cutting as well explain how to attain a front end on your yelp.  I'm not sure your definition of good on a mouth call, but I have had TONS of veteran turkey hunters and competition callers share their success of improved calling with me. Just food for thought.

Thanks!
