Title: Alishas Turkey
Post by: scott63 on May 19, 2012, 05:55:28 PM
This is my daughter Alisha with her third turkey ever. He had a 10.25 inch beard and one inch spurs, and she made a nice clean 30 yd shot with her 20ga 870. Didn't weigh the bird, but he was a dandy and better than any of mine this year! We are in far Northern California, outside Redding.

Thanks guys, I'm hoping next year to have her call one in for herself, although I prefer to be her guide! :happy0064: Got her practicing with the box call and a slate. Dirt Road Ninja, there are a lot of turkey in Ca now. When I was a kid we hardly ever saw them, now they are everywhere........Scott
