What shotgun or shotguns have you bought for turkey hunting made especially for turkey hunting or one that you bought and made into a turkey gun, that you WISH you had never bought and still have the gun or not ?
1. The Stevens 301 /410 ga.

3. The ATI Nomad / 410 ga.
I really don't care for any of these and wished i had never bought them. Especially the Nomad - the trigger on these are horrific and by far the worst 410 ga. I have ever bought .
I know a lot of people really like the Stevens 301 and that's fine ... It's just not something I care for myself.. I think you can save your money and just invest in a better 410 / 20 ga. like the TriStar or Mossberg

All but 2 of my shotguns are turkey specific or made into turkey guns. Only one I regret is a Stevens 320 20 gauge pump that I still haven't shot (cheap impulse buy).
My go to is my Remington 870 20 gauge Fieldmaster. I put an FF3 on a Sumtoy mount, a Magpul stock, and sent it out to Ethridge to get dipped and cerakoted

I don't regret buying any Turkey guns, however, I do regret selling 2 of them. The first was an Remington SP-10 that I had customized by Mark Bansner. He shortened the barrel to 21 inches, cut Weaver Rifle sights into the rib, and installed a custom Turkey Choke. The other was a beautiful Browning BPS 10 gauge. I replaced them with Benelli SBE's due to the weight. Regret this dearly, even though I do love the SBE's.

Tom007, I bought my Benelli SBE I back in 2002. I bought my Browning BPS 24" Stalker 10 Ga. in 2001. I still have them both. I would never sell my BIG 10 even though it is very heavy. You don't need anything but plain old lead in that one. It's a HAMMER! Glad I held onto it. I still hunt with it from time to time.

Smart man, I wish I still had those 10's. I did replace them with a handful of great Turkey pounders, so the pain has faded. Will never get rid of any of my Turkey guns again, for sure.....

Traded it in on the aforementioned 11-87. No regrets.

I got the 1300 sometime around 1990. I remember my dad had to sign for it since i was too young. It came with a youth sized stock and a certificate to claim an adult sized stock later (which i did). I shot my first turkey with it in 1992. In 2019 my son shot his first turkey with it. Night and day difference with the modern chokes and loads we have now.

I'm not really a turkey hunter, but I bought a couple Fabarm over/under turkey shotguns just in case I get the opportunity.
Really regret selling my first Bps 10 gauge. Beautiful wood, deep rich bluing, nicely engraved receiver with the
goose/turkey scenes, with the 26" barrel. Bought one to replace it, but it is the plain model,
shoots great, but I really miss that pretty one!
Ones I don't regret are all the Ithaca 37's I had. 12,16, and 20's, loved the guns, but they
were really unreliable. To be fair, I bought these used, so perhaps they had issues the sellers didn't disclose.Went to the Browning bps, as I like the bottom feed/eject, and they
have been 100% My favorite is my Bps 12 upland special, it is a great turkey gun, although
it is semi-retired now. Old girl has earned it after almost 30 years of constant use.

I have had so many it would be to laboring to list. I`ll go with this:
Early on Marlin goose 12ga to heavy and not choked for turkey. It was made for killing geese. Nice firearm if used for intended purpose. It went.
Remington 1100 magnum. Heavy, if i remember correctly 3 inch chamber. Nice firearm. Kind of regretted letting it go.
Remington 1187 12ga. my nightmare. I told Remington you should market this to the military as it shoots around corners. They replaced it and I immediately sold it. I should of gave it more time as I have a heart for big green.
Mossberg 835 with Nikon turkey scope stock choke. My go to turkey taker. Never let me down.
Mossberg sa-20 with swampfox reflex. Soft shooter, patterns well. Still getting to know this one.
Beretta A350 12 ga. Bead sight, does the job, light to carry. Mainly I use this for waterfowl.
I got it Right the very first time. Mossy 835 with a 24" barrel. Trigger work done to take out the creep and lightened the pull to about 3 lbs. Added a Red dot to correct a 3" right and 3" down POA/POI issue. Put on a Pure Gold .670 choke and she shoots LIGHTS OUT with 3 1/2" 2 1/4 oz Hevi 7's. Total Confidence in this gun.

I think the most exciting thing right now is the the custom flintlock fowler I'm currently having built and should be finished by this springs season. It has a Colerain 42" turkey choked barrel on it that chokes to .580" at the muzzle. It is being built on a beautiful blank of figured walnut. I am having some turkey specific metal engraving done on the lock plate and barrel breech. I plan on shooting TSS 9s or a 9/10 blend. I am most excited to hunt with that gun this spring over everything else.
CVA .410-factory jebs choke, and added a Burris fast fire 3. I absolutely love it.
Old original Benellli Super Black Eagle, axes a fast fire 3 with a meadow creak mount and a Sumtoy choke. Great set up , but dang it's heavy!
