Has anyone loaded any 2 3/4" 20ga magnum hulls with tss? I've found some primed 2 3/4" high brass hulls but every body is out of 3" hulls
Yes
What are you trimming your 3" hull length to. I have checked mine and the loads I got from , I am trimming mine to 2 3/4". I was considering buying new 2 3/4" hulls if I can ever find them again. I am roll crimping.
Not sure if that question was directed at me or the OP. I am loading 2&3/4" hulls with 1&5/8 oz TSS. I trim after everything is in the hull to have 1/4" of hull above the OSC for roll crimping. I am trimming off about 1/16" of hull.

That is an interesting question...

The question was for either of you,I am loading 1 5/8 oz of #9 tss also. I have been trimming my 3" hulls to a little short of 2 3/4". I am using a load recipe from one of the tss suppliers and it calls for a 3" hull, but since I am basically trimming to 2 3/4", I am considering just buying 2 3/4" hulls.

Should work just fine, provided the primer is the same for the 3" and 2&3/4" hulls that you are using, since you are ending up shorter than 2&3/4" after trimming.

yes, great patterns, Hal has load recipes for 2.75"
I have quite a few loads that will work in 2-3/4.

Yes you do! They "work" alright. Yours are some of my favorites!
