I do the same thing though it's usually pots or trough calls. Sometimes tubes

I'm in the garage several times a week playing box calls. It's very therapeutic for me.
I am the same way with my trumpets. At first I forced myself to get my practice in every day, it's turned into a therapy. I hate the rare occasion I miss a day.

I forgot sometimes when the wife is home and get told real fast to cut it out! Bill a single slate? I thought they were all doubles....
Very nice collection of hens ... I agree, i enjoy playing calls just about everyday. It's like getting the feel of each call and how it wants to be played and finding all the hens in a call... Agree just therapy.
