Mr. Stowe is in the hospital in bad shape. He said he doesn't know if he will ever make another trumpet but will be passing it on to a friend who will build them.

May God act upon his plan accordingly. Lewis is a great man and call maker, he's got turkey in his blood, and turkeys know how to survive; hopefully Lewis will pull through.

Prayers for Mr Stowe that he can be healed. Prayers for all of his caregivers too.
-
I spoke with him yesterday and he was in really good spirits.
I think the grace of God has His peace over him. He truly is a Godly and spiritual man.
He said he can feel our prayers and knows we are praying he will pull through this bump in the road.
He’s a good man.

Lewis's hard work produces.
Get well soon my friend. And remember Isaiah 53:3, "by His wounds we are healed," no matter what. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220514/0ae008b6cecd58c7ab8aa2f67381f284.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220514/013f5bc43ce75ed0092234813bfe4ad3.jpg)

Mr. Lewis is in bad shape but great spirits. He knows where his eternity is. If/when he passes it will be a huge blow to turkey hunting history. My only regret is not reaching out to him sooner. If the Lord takes you home Mr. Lewis I look forward to seeing you in Glory when my time comes.
-
This is really sad. Thoughts and prayers.

I received his same text at 4 33 this morning

That’s so sad. I purchased my very first trumpet from him in March. We talked on the phone and when he had finished it he sent me a video of him playing it before he shipped it. He was a mighty fine man.

Lewis Stowe has been a friend for over 45 years. My heart hurts...I will miss his friendship...but I celebrate his life and his witness for Jesus Christ our Lord!!! I don't know of another man that was any more at peace with his situation than Lewis Stowe....Lewis put all his affairs and trust in God's hands!!! Lewis Stowe ran his race...and he ran it well!!! Godspeed, Lewis!!!

Was humbling to see Lewis testifying as to the deep spiritual experience he was having in his last days as a patient in the hospital-he was so grateful for the caregivers and all of the love and support he was receiving. A life well lived, a Legend now
