Title: Idaho gobbler

Henned up two year old loud mouth. Watched him and a hen pitch down. Figured he wouldn’t come to the call and he didn’t. After a while he was self gobbling about every ten minutes.
I snuck in on him listening for where and how far he was. Problem was there was another gobbler and I made a move thinking he was walking away.
He gobbled on the opposite side of a bunch of young pines... about knocked me over.
I just eased to the ground, sat no tree. And waited. Then he got farther away. I thought it busted me. I yelped a soft couple of yelps. He answered. And then I saw a hen feeding out. I figured he’d eventually follow her and he did.
Hand rolled 20 ga TSS.
