Hi.. New here. Just curious if anyone has any info on some TSS loads for a flintlock Fowler. Shot cup? Felt wads? etc..
I've fooled around a little but not getting the patterns i think I should be getting.. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

If it is a 12g you can substitute black powder for the 777 from my load.

Thank you! I saw you original post when I was searching for info. Good stuff!
I'm going to keep playing around. haven't tried 777 yet. It's a 20ga btw.

Make sure you use a shot cup. TSS will wreck your bore in short order. Ballistic products has 20 gauge cups for TSS but you will need a gas seal as well. From my buddies shooting flintlocks they haven't had much luck with 777. It is harder to light and will misfire occasionally.

Good info.. I was wondering about the TSS damaging the bore.. That's why I've been hesitant. I've shot it a few shots without a cup but think I will hold off until I feel confident i wont hurt the barrel. I couldn't find the shot cups on BPI? Maybe i was looking for the wrong thing.
My plan was 2 lubed felt wads for a gas seal, you think that will be efficient?
Thanks for your help.

There is a member on this forum, "Matt / PA"
Look thru his posts, he did a lot of work with a fowler and TSS

Hey Guys. Just wanted to bring this back to the top. Still haven't fooled much with the TSS. I think I shot a total of 4 shots through it with TSS. $th shot killed a gobbler last year though.
Just wondering if there was any more info out there floating around.
Thanks in advance.
