There is a Dixon Vest on eBay right now, bid is up to $1525. This is crazy...would rather have a nice, new turkey gun. Amen... :z-winnersmiley:

I don't even know who Bob Dixon is. Lol

It would be nice if you look up who Bob Dixon was and why this vest was done in his honor, you will be surprised what you will learn.

Looks like the original ones were done for charity. This one isn't.

It sold for $2075.00 plus shipping.

Couple more on there now if someone has deep pockets.

One of them is listed at $3,000 or best offer. Man.

Makes $189.99 investments back in the day, look really good!

They are worth every penny. If something happened to mine, I'd drop 2k on another one before you could blink.

I saw that vest on there a couple weeks back and thought that looks unique, then saw the price. Too much for me

I bought a Dixon that came with the calls for $500 several years back. I wore it for one season, called in a gobbler with the primos box, took some pics with it, and sold it for what I bought it for. It is a cool piece of turkey history, but it is heavy and hot. I wear an old Mossy Oak strap vest, and really only use it to carry my turkey tote and some 101 mini bottles. I don’t get the fascination, but to each their own.

Smart move. Those willing to pay $1-2k for a vest, seems crazy to me, but it’s not my money so… I’d rather spend that money on a hunt somewhere on my bucket list and make some memories with friends/family but that’s just me. I’ve got numerous vests but none are perfect and I usually swap around depending on weather and hunting situations during the season.
