Title: Floating a river for geese???
Post by: georgierodgers on December 21, 2020, 09:08:46 AM
It’s a medium size river that’s very low right now with lots of sandbars that the geese like to loaf on. I’ve got this crazy idea to cover my little plastic boat with pine boughs, lay down and see how close I can get to the birds. I’d pretty much just float with the current and hide. They will see me coming, but I wonder how close I can get looking like a brush pile. Any thoughts or experience doing such craziness?

Why not read the answers on MY post on the Refugeforums? You have copied it word for word and posted it here. I’m not sure if I should be offended or feel good you want to try the same crazy idea. I haven’t tried this because our fields have gotten hot and we’re stacking them up. Good luck!
