Are these two, dymondwood and actionwood the same thing??? I do know that both where used to make recurve bows. Actionwood came first in bow making than dymondwood came later. I know you can not find dymondwood any more, but I found 2 different places that still have actionwood for sell. thanks chris
Who said dymondwood isnt around anymore..? I just turned some strikers last week out of dymondwood. i can buy it anytime i want it..it's around, not like it was before the factory burnt but it's around.
thanks for the reply,, but I was wondering if these two are the same , with different names or two totally different woods,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Never heard of actionwood. But I need to try to find some dyamondwood, really want to try to make a striker out of oit
way back than,, they used actionwood for making bow risers and limbs for recurve bows. Than some time later dymondwood replaced actionwood.. I can get some old actionwood, jusy wondering if they are the same thing with different names.
