2018 was a different season for sure, lots of Toms wandering around in groups with no hens to be seen and sporadic good gobbling days with many more silent days. Managed to take first bird on April 26th weighing in at 19 lbs 13 oz, 9 3/4" beard and 1" spurs and second bird taken May 11th weighing 19 lbs 8 oz, 9 1/2" beard and 15/16" and 1" spurs. Can't wait until next year!!!
