Has anybody got a chance to check out the new m2 I see they got a complete over haul. Looks like they are now there entry level semi. The old m2 was great not so sure about the new one? Looks like the old model will be highly sought after
The SBE 3 20ga is now their top of the line 20ga and they want you to pay more for it to get the features !
Is it still around same size and weight
I checked into a pistol grip stock from the custom shop....they dont offer it
????????????????
It's probably going to take a bit. You could get an m2 and a mesa urbino stock
So what's better older m2 or new super black eagle 3

I do like the new SBE 3 20ga better than the M2's I've owned. They have some nice upgrades over the M2. Just wish they offered a short barreled version (20-22").

Could you please give some detail? Thank you.

You are really not getting any additional value in the SBE3 over the M2. The price difference is quite drastic, but the features are just not there.
The SBE3 looks cooler and slicker, but I don't think it's worth the extra $400ish.
If I was debating between the 2 for a dedicated turkey gun, the M2 would win for me. You have a 24" barrel option and a compact stock option with the M2 that is not available in the SBE3. For a duck gun, both do well with a full stock and long barrel.

I would also take the older model M2 over the new.
M2 leaves $400 to buy tss ammo!!!
