Post by: Jester87 on March 28, 2022, 11:53:29 PM
Giving 3" Longbeards a try this season. Surprisingly no sight adjustment needed between these two shells and the Jellyhead.

870 SPS-T Super mag, original Jellyhead .665

@ 40 yrds:

Kent 3.5" Ultimate Diamond #5 (1200fps 2-1/4) vs LBXR 3" #5 (1050fps 1-7/8)

Looks like a coin flip there, either one looks good....Longbeard wee bit better in head and neck...

Both look good. I have killed turkeys with both. My son actually prefers the Kents and for the money they are hard to beat if they can be found anywhere.

Both look good IMO.

Both shoot good, one kicks less. Wont hesitate to use either. Kents have served me well all these years and are easier to find around here.

The LBXRs at 25 yards.
