With green slate that is! John Sinclair has done it again! Live turkey! An amazing piece of wood! I can't get enough! I have tried many different woods and surfaces from him and every call just makes me go WOW! How can one man be so good at what he does? I dunno but I am glad I found a pot call maker that puts out a product this amazing within a couple day turnaround. You order a turkey call and you get a turkey call well not just a turkey call! An amazing piece of art that sounds just like a live turkey.. I am still shaking my head!

I believe there's no turnaround wait time because he already has them made. I'm pretty sure he's not receiving your order then starting up his lathe. Congrats on a beauty!
Man both the pot and the striker look magnificent, love the grain/wood pattern on both.

Yes! Sorry to confuse anyone! He came out this year with an idea! An idea that is soooo awesome it will blow your mind! It's called CYT= Call Your Turkey! He makes the pots on a lathe in his shop many long nights! Gives you tons of options on woods and sizes then let's you!! Wait for it!! Pick your surface and soundboard! Genious! You order a call and it comes right away! Wow wow wow And for the record I am not a pro staff I am a regular dude who ordered some calls and everytime I am blown away! Regular guy that likes to hunt turkeys! :turkey2:
I recently got a green slate over glass in a kingwood pot from John, and it instantly became one of my favorite pot calls. John's work is oustanding, and I really like how he has set up his build your own call website. Also, his customer service is outstanding, and his prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong getting a call from John.

I have 3 of his green slate cocobolo now...that wood just flat out works with green slate!

Mine is in the mail , I just got lucky , put up a post about wanting a green slate pot ,
Ended up getting a reply from one of his pro staff guys , Jeff
We chatted lots and ended up me calling him
After I decided , then had a personal chat with John , I can't wait for my new pot and I'm excited about the 3 strikers I also got coming with it ,
I got pictures from john that night after he glued it in , it green slate on a green slate soundboard ,
I will posts some pictures as soon as I get ,
Only thing I'm worried about , that website he has , it's going to end up costing me lots as I already know I'm buying anouter of his pots , so much nice wood and his workmanship is impeccable
The best part is that thy sound as good a they look. All around great quality!!
I have a titanium and a stainless in bocote, both are beautiful and sound amazing. Just received a yellowheart waterproof with a carbon tip striker, I think will be sweet. Poured water on it and still talks turkey. Highly reccomend Sinclairs calls.

I'm going to just come out and say it.. If you are living life with waders and sunglasses on and not looking at John's calls you are missing out. One of the nicest guys you will meet. The variety of woods, surfaces and soundboards he offers is unmatched. The fit and finish is always perfect. Every combination sounds amazing. He will try things others won't and he will make it sound good! He will stand behind his product and keep his customers happy.. I am sad he is closing down for the summer but my wife will be happy.. Beyond all that his calls are deadly. I hope the calls off CYT sell soon so I don't end up buying them all!
