The first week of my season had to be forfeited, family stuff ;^) Every once in a while ya gotta take a hit. All is well.
Tomorrow will kick off the season for me and I'm ready to rock! :you_rock: I'll keep you all in the loop.

Had a great hunt today, with an almost. A group of deer came into the set up as it started to unfold and sent the birds off in another direction. Birds are still grouped up, five long beards are still hanging together. I'm keeping after em. More to follow.

Keep up with those 5 Johnny. I'd put out a strutter or jake with a couple of hens. You call in those 5 again to that set up, you can sit back and enjoy the show, then shoot the gobbler of your choice. Good luck!! :icon_thumright:

We're doin pretty good here.. I'm at it again tomorrow and We need another score. 2 slots needed to be filled. I'm covered up with birds and now I just need a little luck. Hopefully tomorrow... Bases are loaded here, I'm feeling the pressure :TooFunny:

Im in the same boat Tracky. Seen 1 longbeard so far. Called in 3 Jakes with 3" beards the other day. Will be at em again tmorrow. Sounds like a mature gobbler mid morning still gobbling and he had a hen with him still. Ill throw the works at em tmorrow. :firefighter:

Teammates, I was close this year. Covered up several times with all kinds of action. I couldn't connect with the major Tom. I had a great season that finished with a Jake. Good luck to all if your still doing it.
