As I mentioned in a previous thread, I built a few trumpets with some new "specs". A few people asked if I could post some sound files of these new models, so here they are. I actually made 2 clips of each species (Tulipwood, Cocobolo, Osage Orange) of trumpet and will note those below. I made one of the files(#2) trying to show very soft, all the way to pretty loud/fast/sharp calling......the other files(#3) was a more normal calling pitch/tone. My hope was to show the range of tones these trumpets have(as best I could do it anyway). The shorter of the clips(#3) for each call was done in my backyard, I didn't get to kee-kee much on these because my dog was not happy with it. As usual, feel free to let me know what you think. I really like these trumpets, super easy to play.... soft or loud....consistent from one to another, and kee-kee great too.
