So I have a Rossi youth model .410 shotgun it's so small and light I love carrying it thru the woods for squirrels. I wanna use it for turkeys. But most the factory ammo doesn't pattern very well past 20 yards is there any way that I can reload a better load for turkey hunting or do any of y'all know of any factory loads? I'm not expecting 50 yards with a .410 but 35-40 yards maybe. Any help is welcome thanks.
I know of a few guys that are loading tss for their 410 with great results, I just got some apex 9's for my 20 but have not shot them yet
50 yards with TSS in a 410 is very achievable and Apex is a great company to deal with.
Apex, i already have mine ... great bunch of guys...
You might do 35 with lead 7.5s if you got the right turkey choke installed. TSS might get you to fifty, might not.
