Tried different chokes and got similar results today. 23" 870SM Longbeards #5s 47 degree temps.

Whats the yardage they were shot at.
I was curious as to how close your set up was gonna be to mine. I shoot the same gun, gt .655, and the 3-1/2" 5s and I got 172. But mine was at bout 65 degrees or so. So yours will do a lil better. Killer patterns.

I'm wanting to clean my barrel to see if it gets better but my luck it'll get worse. I haven't scrubbed the barrel since this time last year. I do pull a bore snake between shots though.

I agree! I believe the .655 may have been just a touch too tight. I've got a couple different .665s that I'm going to try next. I'd love to get my hands on a .670 Pure Gold to run the 3.5"'#4s through.
