Good luck tomorrow. Me I will be in a training class. Since I haven't hunted opening day In years i guess i will be ok.

I woke up at 5 and it was spitting snow and the wind was whipping pretty good. I stayed in bed and went into work. Tomorrow looks better.

I am holding out again. Looks like high winds up here so I am gonna try wed. Not sure what state I will hunt. But i got lots of options.

Yes it was. Still took 5 hours and about 6 set ups to kill him. Still had 4 hens when he met his demise. He really shouldn't have swung 30 yards out of his way to check the 5th hen out.

I've hunted all week and have yet to work a bird.  Haven't heard much gobbling since Tuesday.

Yeah, it's tough right now. Gobblers are covered up with hens and they don't seem to be leaving even later in the day.

I haven't heard them gobble when flying up to roost all week.  Week before you could set your watch by them.
