Picked these three up in the last few weeks just in time for season to kick off here in MS.
(L to R)
• Clay Townsend Snakewood/faux ivory mp that I picked up from a member on here
• Val Espinoza mud cured Osage/PPSU mp that I won in auction at Nwtf convention
• Seth Hamon Tulipwood with matching tulipwood lip stop on a brass oval mp

They all sound sound great and like different hens but that Hamon tulipwood puts out a good rasp with that oval mouthpiece.
I love the looks of that Hamon.

I love the looks of all of them, the difference is I WANT a Hamon.... LOL. I like the brass oval mp, overall top tier craftsmanship. I've liked the ones I have played.

Yeah I got on his list last year and played a couple of his that he entered into the call makers comp at the NWTF convention and loved how they sounded although they were round mouthpieces. He got to me right after the convention was over and I knew I wanted to try the oval design for something different. He told me it produces more of a pronowned rasp and he had me sold. Boy was he right! This thing will flat out play and you can easily get raspy on it.
That snakewood is a good horn. Vals horns are no slouch either. Can't speak for Harmon. Here's a pic of the one I got from Val.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230317/dcf72c1796a8a3d22a98faa0e7d3d79e.jpg)

Yeah that Snakewood can play for sure. And like you said, Val's is no slouch. They all three sound great but that Hamon just puts out a natural rasp in the yelp that I can't get enough of.

Ha yep got back on his list today actually!
Some really nice looking calls. Congrats!
I like that Hamon.
I'd want that Val Espinoza call out of the three.

A good choice with no bad choices available. Val makes killer boxes and I've heard good comments on his yelpers by experienced players. Clay is known more for his pot calls but he makes a killer trumpet. And he's been making them for awhile.
Sounded good to me :), 3 nice looking trumpets, think I'd like to try the Seth H, with the flat MP
Don't think I've heard of Val E. where is he located
