What is everyone's thought on when we should start recruiting to fill our team? When we get a full team we can pick update banner if needed, get captain sorted out, and finish the threads we need, calculator, score, kill pics and story and running score. We are defiantly closer than we were this time last year. If we all think we need to get our team to 12, then we will start picking off random for whoever is looking for a team. I'm ready to have some fun!!
Do we have to have 12 members? I, obviously, would like to win, but I really just enjoy hunting and interacting with the team.
I'm cool with whatever you guys decide. I know people are just starting to come back to the site and traffic is picking up so we should have plenty of people to pick up. Can't wait to see everyone's pictures and hear their stories

I think 12 is what it takes to make up the team. Yes people are coming back and I personally don't think we'll have any problem filling spots. I think we just want our ducks in a row for go time. I'm like you guys I really like seeing the pics and hearing the stories from other states.
MDTOM84, I don't mind being captain, I suck on a computer, but we got stuff done. If someone else would like to do it, that's perfectly fine with me too,lol. We worked together last year when things got crazy so we can do it again this year. That's what makes us a good team!!!

Yeah, there are usually plenty of people who are looking to join up with a team. Shouldn't be a problem.
I put some threads for our stories and kills and such. If anyone sees anything wrong or if I missed something, feel free to correct it. We need 5 so we may start recruiting. If you all have a buddy that wants to join, give us a holler.

Thanks. I'm sorry to say that my mom passed away Monday night. I know I gotta get on the ball to recruit but I'm kinda scattered brained right now. If you all have a buddy or know someone that wants to join I'm game. Services are Tuesday and I'm trying to get all her loose ends tied up since this was very unexpected. When I get all this over with I'll get my act together and we can get this team full. I'll try and check pm's when I can if you all find some players. Thank you. Everything was done last night and we're starting to move on. On a good note, I had 4 different guys tell me they have been hearing some. Little early but I can't wait to hear one.

I went out to scout an area this past weekend and heard my 1st gobble of the year. Gonna hit it again soon and get a little more information. I have 3 weeks till my opener.
Gotta love them first gobbles of the year. 3 weeks, you lucky dog, lol.
Is everybody good with the logo from last year, or do we want to come up with something different? I don't think I ever even took mine off after last season... Haha!
I like last years but I'm not smart enough to develop one. Someone may want to put up a link from last year on how to do it.
I am ok with keeping the banner. I went out again, but the birds where quiet this time. I did check a few cameras and have a couple birds on them. We are just not seeing the birds or sign like usual. Could be in for a tough year on public land, but I can promise you no one will hunt harder. I love being in the woods, rather it is scouting or hunting. I usually scout more than I hunt.
Our season starts on April 1st (public land). Is it too early to go out and listen for gobbling?

That time will fly by too. I hunt public land also, I try and locate a couple of birds. I always walk always to try and get away from people. There is nothing like hearing a bird gobble in the woods.

I just got the schedule for the property that I hunt. The first two days of the season are open! Hoping to get a bird down early!
I made the mistake of passing on a bird early in the season last year (thinking I had plenty of time to kill one), and didn't see another gobbler until two days before the end of the season...
