I was looking through wondering if anyone has any info on gluing a soundboard to the bottom of the striker surface other than the usual pedestal in the pot call. My thoughts are that it would deaden the sound from the striking surface just wonder if anyone has tried this.
If I'm understanding you
It deaden the SOUND
i was thinking that it would deaden the sound or leave it hollow, i was thinking about trying it in a call was just curious if anyone else may have tried it or have any experience doing it.
It will kill the call. Your adhesive will absorb most of your surface vibrations. You can try it but it's not going to sound like a turkey.

That is what I was thinking, i saw something about a poly sound board glued to the bottom of the playing surface on one of the call supply sites can't remember which one. I was thinking it would kill the sound just like glue touching the sound board from it seeping from the top.
