Title: H&R single shots
Post by: wisconsinteacher on February 18, 2011, 11:59:03 AM
There is not one post about the H&R 10 ga.  I know they pack a punch on the shooter but I know what they can do to a turkey so I am still thinking about getting one.  I have to work a gun show this weekend and if I see one with a choke tube that can be replaced for a good price, I am going to grab it.  Post some pictures and tell me all about them!!!

I have one. They are like wives, once you have one if you decide to get rid of it you will probably not want another one. If you buy it right though, you will usually be able to get your money back out of it as they are somewhat of a novelty and everybody needs to try one.

Here's mine:

NEF Pardner SB-2 MAD 10 ga.
JellyHead .695 Choke Tube
Leupold 2X Pistol Scope
Limbsaver Recoil Pad

I want to try the Rhino .720 in this gun. The JellyHead is a little tight.
It was factory drilled and tapped for a pistol scope. It was just a matter of getting the bases and rings to mount the scope.
I never liked the factory camo, it is slippery, but a shooting glove helps.
It's a 10 lb. turkey killing machine.   :smiley-char092:

i have one, i've mainly used it as a buckshot gun when tracking wounded deer, but i'm in the process of setting it up as a turkey gun.  gonna shoot winchester xx mag either 5's or 6's out of a .690 kicks GT choke

I have one.  It will knock the beak off a gobbler with the Rhino choke and Nitro 7s.

hey 7mmstw :welcomeOG:
I would consider sellling that gun and buying a new one.
The cost of the gunsmithing would just about pay for a new one unless you are gonna do it yourself.
