Anyone had issues with mossberg 500 turkey model shooting left consistently? I tried the following chokes and ammo:
Chokes:
Carlson long beard xr .568
Mossberg x factor turkey .580 (lead only choke and came with gun) (only shot target #8 and long beard xr #5 with this choke)
Ammo:
Hevi shot mag blend 5,6,7
Federal 5,6,7 meat eater blend
Long beard xr #5
Winchester target loads #8
I just bought it for my sons first turkey gun. Came with non adjustable tru glow sight. It's consistently shooting left and pattern just sucked imo at 35 yards.
Thanks for the help

My daughter went with an Indian Creek.555 and likes the pattern. Hers shot left too but had the adjustable fiber optic sights.
A buddy of mine got a 500 for his wife and I picked up a Primos Tightwad and it throws a good pattern too. Not as tight as my daughters but a nice hunting pattern.
Both are shooting #7 Hevi so not sure what they would do with the Winchester XR shells
I have not. My 500 has a Bushnell trs 25 red dot and Trulock choke rated for 7 shot. It has a 26" barrel. It patters well out to 40.
