I'm looking for real World weight for a Remington 870 20 gauge synthetic with a 21 inch barrel I know the website say 6 pounds but they're not always the same as the real world weight this is Gun only no optics thanks
Real world it won't be less than 5.5 and probably not more than 6.5 does a half pound really matter?
I'm just trying to get an idea of the weight before I go that route
I have a youth model 20 with the wood stock and fore end with a Truglo Tru Tec Micro red dot on top. Also has a Mossy Oak graphics kit on it (the weight is minimal but just for reference). It weighs 7.5 but honestly feels less than that.
my 870 20ga compact 21" barrel with a vortex strikefire 2, Indian creek choke and claw sling weight's 7.1lbs
without the sling 6.11lbs
My gun has the the Realtree hardwoods camo synthetic stock and fore end.
Ok here's a good comparison my 870 12ga Supermag with 21" barrel, claw sling, Nikon VSD red dot weights 8.1lbs
20 gauge 870 Express Compact with 21" barrel synthetic stock 6lbs. + or - an ounce or 2. Mine is 6.6 lbs. with Remington SF choke tube, Vortex Venom/Sumtoy mount and sling.
