Has anyone patterned or hunted with these shells? I will be patterning these out of my Greenleaf 870.

Shot them out of my Mossberg 535 and an Indian Creek Choke. They patterned alright for me. They opened up a little to much for my liking past 30 yards. But in your setup you may have better luck.

Killed my first turkey with one of those. Worked great for me!

Shot the 3.5" version out of a stoeger 3500 with carlsons .650 non ported choke. They were good even pattern to 30 yards at 40 yards the best i got was 85 in 10" circle. It was about 45 degrees and a little windy though.

Back in the day, I'd put a pie plate out at 25 yards and take a shot at it. If it was a nice even pattern you were good, we kept it pretty simple. Go pattern it see what you have at 30. If I were to guess I'd say you'll be just fine. We can make it work, especially when shells are hard to come by. Know your effective range and Enjoy the hunt!  :anim_25:
