I see nothing wrong with that wood, I like stuff like that as well as some more of the "flashy" stuff.
Lignum Vitae makes a awesome trumpet.

Genuine LV is a great wood for trumpets, has a unique sound to it, at least to my ears.....that is a nice piece, on the light color side for sure.
If you can find it you better buy, there is a total ban now.

No doubt, I keep an eye out for GLV..... I recently found a large number of Bois de Rose blanks, bought them all, it is nearly impossible to get now and it is banned as well.

Looks good it will change colors after awhile. I have one from SC Possum and it's looking greenish in a couple spots. It's got a nice sound.

LV is great wood for a call. I have several duck calls made out of it. I can only imagine the sound from a trumpet.
