Sure do!

Cube your turkey up put a slice of jalapeño with them take a pound of bacon cut into 1/3's wrap turkey and pepper with bacon.

Put on a cookie sheet then take a mixture of brown sugar and chilli powder and sprinkle over the top.

Put in oven for 15-20 mins. 5 mins before done, remove from oven pull them out and drizzle either honey or pure maple syrup over them and put back in for the last 5 mins. I usually put the oven on 400.

Sounds good...I do mine different.

Slice turkey breast thin cut the longer strips in half.
Lay the turkey flat lay a piece of bacon on top, then spoon on about 1/2 t-spoon of cream cheese spread...I like the chives flavor) then top with a 1/4" thick slice of fresh jalapeno, roll up, and spear with a toothpick.  Place on a cookie sheet and put on broil  for 20+ minutes.

The turkey will be done WAY before the bacon is cooked. What do you do to cook the bacon and not overcook the turkey?

I have made these 7-8 times now,in all different combinations and I have not had any issues.I usually cook them on the bbq for approx 30 minutes.I believe I did them in the oven once.I find that they are never going to all be perfect as not all the bacon will be cooked,or some cooked more, same with the bird, still always been great tasting.I never worry about it all that much either way.I prefer my peppers to be well done, along with the bacon.I marinate the bird usually for at least 12-24 hours so I can eat it any way its cooked,I have only had a few pieces that were "well done" most are the way I like it.

I cut mine in larger size strips to grill and marinate in Italian dressing overnight.  I cut the jalapenos in longer strips and place 2 or 3 on top of the turkey.  Then, wrap the bacon around the turkey and jalapenos and place toothpicks in it to hold.

I do mine on the grill on medium to medium high heat.  I keep turning them so that the bacon doesn't burn.  I actually turn them so they get direct heat on all 4 sides.  I actually made them two nights ago and by far my favorite meal.

I also baste mine while cooking with a little oil mixed in with the sauce/marinade that I use to marinate them.

You do realize that smoked bacon is in theory cooked?

I've never had a problem

Ok so I ended up doing a mixture of Sam and Neal's recipes:

Wild Turkey Jalapeno Poppers Wrapped in Bacon:

- marinate in Italian dressing for at least 12hrs (already had one breast marinating since yesterday)
- cut jalapenos in half length wise and remove seeds
- cut turkey strips long enough to match jalapenos and about 1/4in thick
- fill each half with chive cream cheese
- coat each side of turkey strips with brown sugar
- place turkey strips on top of cream cheese stuffed jalapenos
- wrap with bacon (hickory or apple wood), sprinkle with black pepper.
- place on cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes

- while waiting create a dipping sauce by mixing mayo and Dijon mustard (50/50). Add honey to desired sweetness.

Both of my daughters loved these. Thanks guys for all the tips

^^^This!!!!
Only thing I do differently is I don't remove all the seeds and instead of all the happy stuff, they just get placed in a pan of Worcestershire sauce and on low broil until the bacon is done. I think I'll try the Italian dressing this time around though.

I am starting on three meals for this weekend with my last wild turkey from the fall.I am following the Italian dressing popper recipe on this thread and I am also making a homemade turkey stew.
I also plan on making wild turkey burgers, wrote down this meateater recipe,he calls them sausage patties but I am going to make them into "burger" patties and cook them on the bbq for supper one night this weekend.

I just prepared supper for tomorrow evening,I tried a few things different this time as I used jalapeno peppers and green peppers and i cut the jalapeno peppers in half and then put them back together and then used green peppers for the rest. These will be for dinner on opening day eve, along with some rice. I also mixed up some of the dipping sauce that was mentioned on this thread to try out as well.I am going to be making the "turkey patties" later for our burgers for opening day night on the bbq,on kaiser buns.

I can't get the whole pan of them to load,I can't seem to get the file small enough today.there is about 24 of them in total, which is more than enough for two of us.I like them cold the day after as well for a mid day snack.

The brown sugar, maple wrapped poppers were my favorite I have done yet,I did half them with jalapeno peppers and half of them with green peppers, the sauce was perfect for them and a little rice. The burgers we had last night with spicy fries, they were good but I prefer them as a breakfast food next time. Thanks for the new poppers recipe!

I cubed the turkey for shish kabobs,I have the turkey marinating in zesty italian dressing, I have the chilli powder and brown sugar mixed and ready to go, I just need to get peppers cleaned up and halved for the poppers and cubed for the kabobs.

-baby tomoatoes
-mushrooms
-onions
-bacon
-cubed venison
-cubed wild turkey breast

I marinate these in a honey garlic bbq sauce and then I'll throw them on the bbq in about 1 hr. I'll enjoy these this evening with rice, while enjoying a cold Molson Canadian and some Buffalo Bills football.GO BILLS!!!

I've actually changed my recipe.

Slice the turkey thin.
Lay down the bacon and then the turkey slice.
Mix one block of regular cream cheese, 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, fine chopped onion and chopped jalapeno peppers. (Additional sweet bell peppers are optional)
Spoon about a tspoon of the mixture on top of the meat and roll into pinwheel and secure with a wooden toothpick.
Broil in oven until done.

That recipe sounds great,Ill have to try it. I have used a mix of roasted red pepper and herb & garlic cream cheese and It was my favorite but they did not have any roasted pepper cream chesse at the grocery store when I was there, I have tried the jalepeno's cut up and mixed in creme cheese before once with the poppers. I also make a "nacho dip" that usually I mix in the two types of creme chese and grated cheese along with salsa.I should try it on these next time.

Take your turkey and wrap it in bacon, grill as normal. Dice up your jalapeño's. In a small sauce pan put in the block of cream cheese and heat on medium high until melted, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, add in your jalapeño to the melted cream cheese. Remove from heat and let cool. Dip your bacon wrapped turkey in your cream cheese and jalapeño dip

Here is the last of the bird, I pre cooked the leg meat the other day.

-Hickory bbq sauce
-Worchester
-Pepper & Salt
-Mushrooms
-Onion
-Mixture of peppers.

I sauteed the mushrooms, onion, peppers, salt & pepper along with some worchester in butter, drained it and mixed it in with a bottle of hickory bbq sauce and the wild turkey leg meat. I'll heat it up later in slow cooker and serve on tortilla wraps topped with sour cream and lettuce. I will add flavor if needed while heating.

I took out a venison tenderloin yesterday and tonight I made a venison tenderloin stir fry with some onions from my garden, mushrooms, red & green peppers. I sauteed the vegetables in butter,salt/pepper,soya and a little teriyaki sauce and cubed the tenderloin and cooked in butter slowly. I then drained everything and mixed it together with some wild grain rice to enjoy with football.
