Anyone know what the inside diameter of the Remington straight rifled super full choke tube is? Also wondering if this choke was produced before or after the Tru Glo SSX? Thanks in advance

I would hope you already know this and your asking for slug usage.....but your not thinking of using a rifled choke tube for turkey loads are you?
The choke he is asking about is for turkey hunting and NOT slugs! I own one of them and it was manufactured by Remington and if I remember correctly it's a.665. Please educate yourself before commenting!
Straight rifling is the same concept as utilized in both the Truglo SSX & Headbanger. If I'm correct it allows the wad to exit the muzzle without much rotation. As for the exit diameter, sorry I'm no help.
Hard to measure exit diameter since they stop the constriction about a half inch back in the choke. I am guessing it is a .665 though.

I have not patterned the to in the picture but my dad has my first straight rifle turkey super full and it has been the best patterning tube I have tried in several Remington shotguns.
More of a true rifling concept than the blocks used in the SSX tubes.

The choke is tighter than what you can measure at the very exit.
Yes, exit does measure about .680 at the exit but is a fair amount tighter 1/2 farther down in the tube.
As I recall it patterned Win LB 3"x4's fairly well... :camohat:
Thanks for all of the replies and great info. I just got this choke yesterday, and with my crude means of comparing it to a regular super full I would say it is close to .665. As I am wanting to run shells from roughly the same period this choke was produced I tried Remington premier 3" no. 5 magnum and Winchester supreme 3" no. 4 hv. The Winchesters were really nice and even for 4 shot. Also recently came across a ventilator tube that is going to be enjoyable figuring out. Again, thanks a lot.
Did you do a count in the 10" with the HV #4 loads?
Yes. But at only 30 yards. I know that dose not help much, but 30 yards is a long shot for me. 126 in the 10" circle.

The very end of the tube on mine anyway is .690
The grooves of the straight rifling are .675
The lands are .670
