I recently bought a call collection from a friend. This is a Scott Baseshore, Mohogany-Walnut Appalachian Whistler, numbered 11 of 50 from 1994. Would anyone have any idea what the value might be?
I do not have the answer for you but those that can help will want to know what the woods are, if you know when it was made and if it is personalized. Pretty call by the way.
Thank You, I just added the info to the top.
From the picture I would say it's all walnut. Value, no idea. His calls usually are on the high end.

Spring Creek, they were actually sawn and glued boxes. If you look closely at the rails they are the Mahogany pieces. Nice call though!

Hmm, in today's market that's always a tough question. My thought (not that THAT's worth much!) is these calls are very unique in a sea of Cost knock-offs. I have no idea how many Scottie made but a wild guess would be no more than a few hundred. I have a limited edition model made for Turkey Trot with a painted Byrne turkey dog flushing a gobbler and it's one of my favorite calls. They're cool and unique and if I were selling yours I certainly wouldn't take less than $275 and it could very easily bring a good bit more. Cool call and beautifully made by one heck of a nice guy as well as an extremely experienced turkey man. Two thumbs up on fine piece!
First one my eyes have seen like forever.. wanna sell it for $300 ?
That's a really nice box ..
