At 40 yards with an 835 with a Kicks 680 GT. My first try with the #4's. What do yall think?
Looks like a dead turkey to me. :z-winnersmiley:
That will do! If you can find them, give the 6's a try. You'll be impressed with the outcome.
Nothing folds up a gobbler like #4's.
Definitely a dead turkey
I like it. I used 4's for years and went back to them a few years ago. Im not changing anymore. I love 4"s
they put the hammer down.
If you can, try a more open choke in your gun with those longbeard 4's. They'll still shoot really tight but should give you a more filled in, even pattern with less gaps or holes. I used to shoot an HS strutt undertaker .695 with long beard 3 1/2" 2oz 4's. It was a smoker in my 20" 835. I posted a pattern here I shot with it that was 170's in the 10". Those 4's hit them so hard it's like getting struck by lightening!!
10-4. Just ordered a kicks .685. Thats the biggest one they offer in the GT line.
I'll post follow up picks to compare the difference.
