Here is some 40yd patterns I shot today with my Affinity and Sumtoy .670 choke. Not really what I'm wanting but decent.

Shot a few patterns with a Undertaker HD choke today. .675.

Just my opinion, but if that second pattern says federal heavy(15g) and that says "180", I'd shoot a few more to make sure it's consistent numbers wise. If it is, I'd buy as many more of those shells as you think you'll use in your life, plus a few more boxes, and get to crushing turkey faces!

Just thought I would add some more patterns. Through a new Truglo SSX choke.

I like the 191 thru the SSX pattern

Here's a few more patterns shot today with a Carlson's .650 choke. All turkey loads was shot at 40 yards. Shot some field loads at 30 yards to check pattern because I hunt in the woods and most of my shots is under 30 yards. I think the 7.5 load would crush a turkey at 30 and under.

Got me a Franchi Affinity 3.5. Sure hope mine will pattern this good. I have a couple chokes to try out. Very nice patterns you have there.

Are the patterns listed with Fed 3" #7 Hwt. are those the original Federal Heavyweight #7s @ 15g/cc that they quit making?

powderburnt

Yes these were shot with the 3in #7 that they quit making. I have about a half a case left.

Mike13

Is the Carlson's .650 the standard or the Longbeard version?

Then I would go to Rogers website and buy as many as you can afford because those are THE BEST-MOST CONSISTENT patterns I've seen out of that shell. Do you shoot the 3.5" in the Federal Heavyweight or just 3"?
