Looks like ya killed Gobzilla! Awesome bird!

YukonC

Thanks guys. The breast meat on this guy is comical. The breasts barely fit on a sheet pan.

What's funny too is my buddy gave me a bunch of hell because I completed a bunch of upgrades to my shot gun since I got out of archery. I put on a IC choke, Burris FF3, Cheek weld, went to TSS etc. he said now your cursed. Your going to be shut out. Haha!!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

That's a heavy bull.I think around 25 lbs. Is my record,  although I didn't as always have a scale.I suppose you had to drag him out like a deer.

DANG! Congrats man, is it common for birds out your way to weigh in the high 20's?

Well, here in southern Illinois we do have bigger birds but average in the low 20s. That said my last bird was a 2yr old that weighed 18lbs. So there not all hefty.

That is a bird of a lifetime. Huge congrats!

I bet a side of breast meat is gonna be over 5 lbs! I still have a few weeks to go unless WV shuns non-residents, then I have almost a month till PA opens.
