I have been away from call making for about 4 years and have finally been able to re-prioritize some time in my life to get back on the lathe. I didn't realize how much I have missed it until I turned these three over the weekend. The two on the right (live oak burl and laser engraved cherry) sold in less than 24 hours and surprisingly the Thuya burl on the left is still available. That one is my favorite of the three.

My favorite of the 3 as well, may have to try to get one from you.

No they are not. I made 3 or 4 with baffles and just didn't like the way they sounded or ran. Just my personal preference.

Good looking tubes.  I prefer non baffled myself.

Yep. I have had the Thuya burl blank drilled and on the mandrel sitting on my bench the whole time and when I chucked it up on the lathe it was like I had just turned one the day before. I found my happy place again.  :happy0064:

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. Just throwing this out there but I like pics of dead turkeys with my calls if it helps you bring one to the barrel. Enjoy and good luck.

My daughter drew 3 youth hunt draw tags that start on the 4th.  Hopefully we'll be sending you a pic of a smiling 11 year old with her first bird.
