Before you go to far with this you need to run it by Mark Sharpe I sure you will have to set up in the lobby and not sure about the trading part, its Marks show and he makes the rules.

When we do our llure swaps and party's at shows we don't do it at the show site but at a close local bar lounge or restraunt at nite after the show closes for the day,,we tell the manager of bar we need an area with tables to put our stuff on and a waitress to swing by. It requires a little pre show planning and to find a place and confirming it with the manager but telling them you have a bunch of mostly overweight guys from a local show that will come and eat a lot and run up big bar bills is never a hard selll Or difficult in fact they look forward to having us back every year.

Thanks for the advice but I do have sense enough to know that. I was gauging intrest here before I wasted my time. As far as trading calls , we can do it in Helen or the parking lot for that matter. Trading calls will not damper anything. The show is advertised as we are all a big family , right?

I think that's a great idea.  I don't post a lot but I would recognize some names from here if we had OG name tags!  Also like the trade night idea...another way to network and meet other members.

That's be a cool idea.  An OG table..........

Another something that might help would be an OldGobbler ball cap in a unique or distinctive color.  That way you could be recognized away from the table.

I'm gonna try like heck to make it there next year.

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

I wouldn't mind if there was some way to meet some of the OG guys at Turkey Trot as well.

I had suggested a group photo there last year (Assuming you are talking about Turkey Trot Acres, there is another thing called Turkey Trot as well) but nothing ever came of it. I am going to put one of the patches on a hat this year so I can be identified as a member when I am there this year though.
