Gobble!

My season ended Tuesday when I punched my last tag. I'll get pictures up once Flickr comes back. Good spurs but he wasn't packing the longest beard and appears to have not been worried about eating.

Anyone still hunting, besides jarbo?

I will be hunting this weekend in upstate NY. Birds stopped gobbling tho. We'll see what happens

I have a couple spots that haven't been pressured. Rumor has it they're gobbling on the roost but shutting down when they hit the ground. Haven't seen any strutting lately either

I'm done, not a great season but it had it's moments.
Spring turkey hunting, I love it so.                FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

Unless we catch a break in the weather tomorrow,  i am done.  While i did shoot a double beard, otherwise has been a very frustrating sesson.  Murphys Kaw has been full speed. Last weekend it was a crack of lightning and a downpour when a bird was 10 yards from being in range.  Next morning was 3 coyotes running off birds that were working. Went to another property and a bulldozer backfiring and driving across a pasture, birds came out of strut and took off running.  Every trip seems something different.

Not while i had a chance to get out.  Avoided the tornadic storms, but rain sure set in good.  Lots of flood damage coming over next week.

Anyone know if BluMtnGobbler had any luck or if he's still hunting?
