I put this gun together a little over 5 years ago and my wife painted for me then. Between dad, my stepson and myself we have hunted with this gun alot and killed 19 birds with it so far. This year after season I decided to redo it and ended painting it my self but I didn't like how it turned out so I decided to clean it off and try to dip it in mossy oak obsession. After a little bit of practice my wife helped me do it and I really like how it turned out. It's not as good as a someone who does alot of hydo diping but I'm happy. The first picis when my wife painted it, second was the paint job I did but didn't like and the 3rd pic is after we dipped it. I still have to clear coat it and get it all put back together.

That is one funky gun in appearance but sounds like it gets the job done. All three looked pretty good.

I like it.  All I care about is it is not shinny.

Looks like you did a great job on the camo dip from the picture.  I've thought about trying to dip some stuff a few times, but never have gone through with it.

Another option for achieving a "factory" camo-finish look is to use the 3M tape products,...pretty easy and quite a bit less expensive.

All I can say is it looks a heck of a lot better than the results of the "professional" I paid to dip my 12 ga.
